HUA Pak Cheong, BSc (Econ) (London), MBA (Strathclyde),
Certified Behavioural Consultant & Analyst (The Institute For Motivational Living, USA), Member of the International Association of Counselors and Therapists.

Hua spent more than 20 years in the corporate world after leaving the civil service - 3 years in an electronics (LED/LCD display) manufacturing plant as a production supervisor, and later as final testing line supervisor; and the rest in the banking industry in various positions (including human resource development) in both local and foreign banks, and in training consultancy.

His experience in the banking sector covered corporate treasury marketing and sales in the Singapore branch of an American bank, and  training and development  in United Overseas Bank (UOB). He was seconded from UOB to head Singapore's Institute of Banking & Finance as its Director in the early nineteen eighties. He then became Standard Chartered Bank’s South East Asia regional head in charge of training and development, management succession, career planning and development. His geographical responsibilities covered Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, the Philippines, Vietnam and Australia.

Hua is a master trainer in two versions of the DISC, namely DISCinsights™ and Extended DISC®.

As a training consultant since 1993 he has worked with a wide range of clients in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China & Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia and Maldives. These clients include multinational corporations, local corporates, SMEs, and government-linked companies and they come from manufacturing, electronics & IT, engineering services, pharmaceuticals, food preparation, construction &  infrastructure, airline, telecommunications, financial services and hospitals.

Hua is a licensed administrator, user and interpreter of various proprietary behavioral instruments such as:
